| How can I search for Open County Bids? |

There are three options for searching for Open Bids.
- Commodity / Services
By selecting this option you will be able to locate a Bid by searching or
browsing through a list of commodities and services. Only commodities and
services that have a bid associated with them will by displayed and able
to be searched.
- Bid Title, Bid Number, or Description
By selecting this option you will be able to locate a Bid by searching or
browsing through a list of Bids.
- County Department
By selecting this option you will be able to locate a Bid by searching or
browsing through a list of Bids for the selected County Department.
With in each category Bids can be sorted by:
- Bid Title
- Bid Number
- Bid Type
- County Department
- Bid Closing date
Open bids will remain in this section of the web site up until the
closing date for the bid expires.

| How can I search for Closed County Bids
and Award information? |

All closed bids and Awards were orginally hosted in the Open Bids section
of this web site before their closing date expired. In addition to the Bid
information, the Bid's Award information can be viewed in this section.
There are three options for searching for Closed Bids and Award Information.
- Commodity / Services
By selecting this option you will be able to locate a
Closed Bid or Award by searching or browsing through a list
of commodities and services. Only commodities and services that have a Close Bid
or Award associated with them will by displayed.
- Bid Title, Bid Number, or Description
By selecting this option you will be able to locate a Closed Bid or Award by
searching or browsing through a list of Closed Bids and Awards.
- County Department
By selecting this option you will be able to locate a Closed Bid or Award by
searching or browsing through a list of Closed Bids and Awards for the selected
County Department.
With in each category Bids can be sorted by:
- Bid Title
- Bid Number
- Bid Type
- County Department
- Bid Closing date
Awarded Bids will remain in this section for a period of 90 days following the Award's
Closing date.

| How can I generate a list of Vendors who
have registered with the County? |

Generating your list of Vendors begins by searching the commodities Vendors
have selected as part of their registration process. After finding a commodity
description that meets the criteria of the vendors your looking for select the
commodity code link to generate a list of vendors.
Commodity Search Options:
- List Commodity Descriptions Alphabetically
- A set of letters are displayed in the upper left corner.
- Click on a letter to display a list of commodity descriptions
that begin with the letter you selected.
- Select the link next to each description to view a list
of EXPANDED commodity descriptions.
- Select the Commodity Number link to view a list of Vendors
- Select the Vendor Number link to display contact
information about the selected vendor
- Commodity Text Search
- Select this option box to perform a text search on commodity
descriptions at the Class or Class-SubClass level.
- Enter your search criteria in the
text box and click the "Search" button.
- Enter a Class-SubClass code
- If you already know or have a Class-SubClass commodity code, enter
your code in the text box and click the "Go" button. The result will
be a single Class-SubClass commodity code and description.

Options for listing Certified Small Business Vendors.
- Vendor Name, Vendor Number, or Vendor Certification Number
By selecting this option you will be able to locate a Vendor by searching or
browsing through a list of Vendors.
Vendor Search options:
- List Vendors Alphabetically
- A set of letters are displayed in the upper left corner.
- Click on a letter to display a list of Vendor Company
Names that begin with the letter you have selected.
- Select the Vendor Number link to display contact
information about the selected vendor
- Search by Vendor Name, Number, Certification number
- Select the type of search from the dropdown box.
- Enter the name or number you are looking for in the text field.
- Click the Submit button to generate a list of vendors.

and are in an Adobe Acrobat PDF, MS Word, or WinZip compressed format. To view PDF
documents the Adobe Acrobat Reader will need to be installed on your workstation.

Commodity codes are a means of categorizing products and services. The structure of
the commodity codes used in this page is hierarchical beginning with general Class level
commodities that relate to more detailed commodities at the Class Sub-Class Level.
