Description:
The County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Health is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from interested qualified proposers to implement the CalFresh Healthy Living Program to increase food security and reduce the prevalence of diet related chronic diseases among low-income individuals and families.

Proposals are being solicited for the following service categories:

1) Funding Category 1: Early Childcare and Education;
2) Funding Category 2: K-12 Schools and Afterschool Programs;
3) Funding Category 3: Healthcare Clinics;
4) Funding Category 4: Food Banks/Pantries;
5) Funding Category 5: Produce Distribution; and
6) Funding Category 6: Nutrition Education and Physical Activity

Proposals are due Friday, February 21, 2020 by 4:00 p.m. PT. Electronic copies of the RFP and addendums can be obtained via the following County of Los Angeles website: http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/cg/index.htm under the “Open Solicitations for Public Health” heading.
