The County of Los Angeles Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Traditional Legal Assistance Program (TLAP). TLAP provides high-quality, cost-effective legal services that support the rights, dignity, and independence of older adults in Los Angeles County, excluding the City of Los Angeles. The program serves older adults, unpaid family caregivers of older adults, and individuals of any age with a disability, Alzheimer’s disease, or related neurological conditions. Legal services may include counseling, representation, or other assistance delivered by licensed attorneys, paralegals, or supervised law students. Through this RFP, AD seeks qualified providers to help meet the unmet legal needs of these populations and advance elder rights across the County.
