CDC19-065 Notice is hereby given that Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) will be received by the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) until Friday, June 28, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. for Architectural and Sustainability Consulting Services. This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract documents. The LACDA may award multiple one-year contracts with the option of four (4), one-year extensions, provided services are satisfactory and funds are available. Proposers are strongly encouraged to attend a Pre-Request for Statement of Qualifications Meeting at the LACDA, located at 700 W. Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801, on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. Please RSVP by June 18, 2019 to casey.stern@lacda.org. A Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) package containing all submission requirements may be downloaded from the Los Angeles County Development Authority’s website at www.lacda.org, under “For Vendors – View Open Solicitations,” or may be examined at no charge at the LACDA Reception, 700 W. Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Proposers shall provide an original and three (3) copies of their SOQ, which shall be addressed and delivered to: Casey Stern, Procurement Coordinator Los Angeles County Development Authority Housing Investment and Finance Division 700 W. Main Street Alhambra, CA 91801 All SOQs shall be labeled “SOQ for Architectural and Sustainability Consulting Services, RFSQ No. CDC19-065, June 28, 2019”. Any Proposer who wishes his/her SOQ to be considered is responsible for making certain that it is received by the LACDA at the stated location and at stated date and time. No oral, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered unless specified. SOQs received after the scheduled deadline will be returned unopened. Proposers, who, upon request, receive the Request for Statement of Qualifications package and do not wish to submit a SOQ, should reply with a letter of “No SOQ” by the submission due date. In submitting a SOQ, each Proposer thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard contract, a sample of which is attached to the RFSQ package for reference. The LACDA shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any Proposer who refuses to execute said standard LACDA contract. The LACDA reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs. This RFSQ is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent’s SOQ. The LACDA reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this RFSQ. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the SOQs. In accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, it is the policy of the LACDA to assure equal opportunity to all persons, in the award and performance of any contract, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, or disability.
