Description:
The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control (County) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for a contract with an organization that can provide Dead Animal Disposal Service to the County’s Animal Care Centers.

The selected contractor must demonstrate the ability to provide dead animal disposal services at all seven (7) animal care centers located within Los Angeles County. Contractor must also demonstrate the ability to provide such services at any additional centers that may open during the term of the contract. Dead Animal Disposal Services includes, but is not limited to, scheduled pickup of dead animals, disposal services, furnishing of 55 gallon steel storage drums and walk-in dead animal storage freezers, maintenance of furnished and County-owned freezers, and providing special services, not limited to, pickup and disposal of large dead animals from non-shelter locations.
