Description:
The Los Angeles County (County) Department of Parks and Recreation (Parks and Recreation) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for 12 contracts with multiple contractors that can provide park maintenance services and/or mowing services at various County locations.

The 12 County locations (Park/Type of Contract) are, as follows:
• Whittier Narrows Recreation Area - Mowing Contract
• Kenneth Hahn Recreation Area - Mowing Contract
• Arcadia Area Parks - Park Maintenance Contract
• Belvedere Area Parks - Park Maintenance Contract
• Foothill Area Parks - Park Maintenance Contract
• Rowland Heights Area Parks - Park Maintenance Contract
• Hacienda Heights Area Parks - Park Maintenance Contract
• Don Knabe Regional Park - Park Maintenance Contract
• La Mirada Community Regional Park - Park Maintenance Contract
• Ladera Area Parks - Park Maintenance Contract
• South Willowbrook Area Parks - Mowing Contract
• Adventure Park - Park Maintenance Contract

A Mandatory Virtual Proposers Conference will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 9:30 am. Mandatory Virtual Site Visits will be conducted immediately after the Virtual Proposers Conference. Attendance by the Proposer or an Authorized Representative is required. It is also strongly recommended that Proposers visit each Site for a better understanding of the services to be provided.

NOTE: To register for the Virtual Proposers Conference/Site Visits and received a link for the meeting, Proposer must submit a list of attendees to Matthew Green at mgreen@parks.lacounty.gov by Monday, October 26, 2020.

With 12 contracts being solicited, the RFP contains multiple submittal due dates for proposals. Initial submittal date is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2020. Interested contractors must refer to the RFP for the detailed information/instructions and an updated timetable. Upon three (3) day request/notice, sign language interpretation and related materials in alternative formats (Braille-transcript, large print, audio-record, video captioning, etc.) or any other accommodations are available for County of Los Angeles sponsored activities and events.
