Description:
The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation (Department) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for five (5) contracts with multiple contractors that can provide park maintenance, landscape, and ground maintenance, and/or mowing services at various County locations. The County locations (Park/Type of Contract) are as follows: Bonelli Regional Park - Mowing Contract, Altadena Area Parks - Park Maintenance Contract, Arboretum of LA County - Landscape and Ground Maintenance Contract, La Puente Area Parks - Park Maintenance Contract, and Los Angeles Area Parks – Mowing Contract.

Proposers must meet all mandatory requirements set forth in the RFP document and attend the mandatory Virtual Proposers Conference and mandatory Site Visits.

A Mandatory Virtual Proposers Conference will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 9:30 am. Mandatory Site Visits will be held as follows: Bonelli Regional Park at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023; Altadena Area Parks at 9:00AM on Thursday, December 14, 2023; Arboretum of Los Angeles County at 10:00AM on Monday, December 18, 2023; La Puente Area Parks at 9:00AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023; and Los Angeles Area Parks at 10:00AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Attendance by the Proposer or an Authorized Representative is required at the Mandatory Virtual Proposers Conference and Mandatory Site Visits.

NOTE: To register for the Virtual Proposers Conference/Site Visits and receive a link for the meeting, Proposer must submit a list of attendees to Humberto Chairez at hchairez@parks.lacounty.gov, by Thursday, December 7, 2023. Please note that dates above may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

This RFP contains multiple submittal due dates for proposals. Initial submittal date is scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Interested contractors must refer to the RFP for the detailed information/instructions and an updated timetable. Please visit the County’s website to download the PDF file of the RFP and to register for future contracting opportunities at http://doingbusiness.lacounty.gov. LATE PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
