The County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Parks and Recreation (Department) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified proposers for the operation and maintenance of the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area (WNRA) Shooting Facility (Facility) located at 831 N. Rosemead Blvd., South El Monte, CA 91733. Interested and qualified proposers who can successfully demonstrate their ability to provide similar services at comparable facilities in accordance with the requirements as stated in this RFP are invited to submit proposals. A Non-Mandatory Proposers Conference will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, Trap and Skeet Concession, 831 N. Rosemead Blvd., South El Monte, CA 91733. Responses to this RFP must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, Contracts Division, 1000 S. Fremont Ave., Building A-9 West, Unit #40, 2nd Floor, Alhambra, CA 91803. If delivering in person, please check-in at the Human Resources Office on the first floor, or call (626) 588-5253. A person with disability may contact the Contracts Division at (626) 588-5300 at least three (3) days before the Non-Mandatory Proposers’ Conference to request alternative formats or other accommodations. The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation will make every effort to accommodate persons with disabilities.
