The County of Los Angeles (County), Internal Services Department (ISD) is seeking qualified companies to enter into Master Agreements with the County to provide broadband network infrastructure and services for targeted regions and households of Los Angeles County, as described in Section 1.4 (Service Description/Requirements/Considerations) of this document.
Through this RFSQ, the County will competitively solicit and award work orders to deploy broadband networks in the demonstration neighborhoods. This RFSQ will expedite efforts to increase broadband access throughout the County and improve the economic and educational opportunities of Los Angeles County’s residents. Services may include, but not be limited to, the following: • Architect, design plan, and design a community broadband network • Procure plan and equipment/device list • Installation plan • Implementation plan • Test the entire infrastructure and system operations • Connect and serve residences • Operate, monitor, and manage the network; and • End-user customer support More
