SEPTEMBER 6, 2024 NOTICE REQUEST FOR QUOTES FOR BIOHAZARD WASTE CLEANUP SERVICES RFQ NO. LACDA24-055 Notice is hereby given that quotes will be received by the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) until Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. for biohazard waste cleanup services for public housing development sites. This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract documents. The LACDA intends to award a one-year contract, with the option of four (4) one-year extensions, provided fees are fair and reasonable, services are needed, satisfactory performance, and funds are available. Written questions regarding the solicitation are due on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. A Request for Quotes (RFQ) solicitation package containing all submission requirements may be downloaded from the LACDA’s website at www.lacda.org, scroll to and click on “Vendors,” click on “View Open Solicitations,” and under the “Title” column, select the solicitation of interest, then click on “Download Documents Below,” and follow the instructions. Bidders are advised that this RFQ is an informal solicitation and should not be construed as engaging in a formal competitive bidding pursuant to any statute, ordinance, rule or regulation. Bidders shall provide their Quotes and all required forms and documentations by the due date and time stated herein, and it shall be uploaded in a Portable Document File (PDF) (No other electronic format will be accepted) with the electronic file name, "[BIDDER’S NAME] - Quote for Biohazard Waste Cleanup Services--[DATE QUOTE SUBMITTED]" at the LACDA’s website, www.lacda.org, under “Vendors,” and click on “View Open Solicitations.” Then select the solicitation of interest and click “Upload Proposals,” and follow the registration and upload instructions. Once uploaded, the Bidder shall email Michelle Ng, Senior Procurement Analyst, at michelle.ng@lacda.org to confirm the uploaded quote. Bidders shall be labeled “Quote for Biohazard Waste Cleanup Services, RFQ No. LACDA24-055, [QUOTE DUE DATE].” Any Bidder who wishes his/her quote to be considered is responsible for making certain that it is received by the LACDA at the stated location and at the stated date and time. No oral, facsimile, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered unless specified. Quotes received after the scheduled deadline will not be considered. Bidders, who, upon request, receive the Request for Quotes package and do not wish to submit a quote should reply with a letter of “No Quote” by the submission due date.
